NYPD cop accused of racist tirade in Nashville pleads no contest

An NYPD cop accused of drunkenly breaking into a woman’s Nashville home and hurling racial slurs at her and her family pleaded no contest to charges brought against him on Friday.

Michael Reynolds, 25, who is charged with aggravated criminal trespassing and three counts of assault, entered the plea in Nashville on Friday afternoon, local reports said.

Reynolds, who works as a cop in Manhattan, allegedly burst into the home of Conese Halliburton in July 2018, kicking down her door and yelling racial slurs at her and her two children.

He was staying in a nearby Airbnb at the time.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 7.

Local television station WTVF-TV reported that his lawyer declined to comment on behalf of Reynolds Friday.
