Missing teen Ryder Cambron ‘orchestrated’ her disappearance

Police in Texas spent two days searching for a missing 15-year-old girl — only to find out she “orchestrated” her own disappearance with the help of a teenage boy, and even left clues to suggest she’d been kidnapped.

Ryder Cambron left her home in Magnolia Tuesday around 8 p.m. and never came back — prompting authorities from multiple agencies to scour nearby woods and towns, using everything from bloodhounds to helicopters.

Dozens of volunteers, including the teen’s family and friends, as well as strangers, braved rain and mud on Wednesday to look for her, KHOU-11 reported.

Her parents told local cops they were worried sick about their daughter.

By Thursday evening, detectives announced that Cambron had been safely found in Montgomery — and that she’d faked her own abduction with the help of a 17-year-old boy.

Cambron “left clues for her family to believe she had been abducted,” including leaving the “Mule” style UTV she was last seen on and her cell phone in a park before taking off with the boy, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said.

She hid out at a house in Dobbin, Tx., with the teen and two adult men for about 28 hours, investigators said.

When she learned that detectives were on her tail, she ran into nearby woods — where “an alert citizen” spotted her hiding behind railroad tracks, investigators said.

Cambron traveled about 4.4 miles from where she was spotted until cops found her and returned her to her parents.

Detectives are looking into possible charges “to anyone responsible for harboring a runaway,” they said.
