Pete Alonso just won’t stop.
The Mets’ super rookie hit his 50th home run of the season on Friday, going deep against Reds hurler Sal Romano for a two-run shot in the top of the eighth.
The homer makes Alonso just the second rookie to go yard 50 times in a season and the 30th player in league history to hit the milestone. He extended his MLB-leading total — he’s now two ahead of Cincinnati third baseman Eugenio Suarez, who has 48.
“That’s crazy,” Alonso told The Post’s Kevin Kernan of being on the cusp of the milestone. “That’s absurd.”
