Man found alive on roof after jumping from adjacent building

A 26-year-old man was in critical condition after he was found on a Lower East Side roof — after apparently falling or jumping from an adjacent building Saturday morning, police said.

The man was found by neighbors who heard him moaning on the roof at 161 Stanton St., witnesses said.

“His face was covered in blood,” said one witness.

The man lives at an adjacent building on Clinton Street, police said.

He was taken to Bellevue Hospital.
