A man was walloped by a car while wearing a Jamaican flag as a cape and dancing on a Brooklyn street in the early morning hours before the West Indian Day parade, according to cops and video of the crash.
The man was dancing on East 80th Street near Paerdegat 12th Street in Canarsie at about 3 a.m. when he was plowed into by the driver in a Honda sedan, police said.
The man was launched backward into the car’s windshield and then flung into the air, the video shows.
He miraculously escaped without serious injury, authorities said. Police arrived shortly after the crash, but the man who was struck refused to cooperate with them, cops said.
He also refused medical attention.
The driver of the Honda remained on scene and was not charged with a crime.
