Field of Dreams, Red Sox

It’ll be an early start for the Yankees.

As part of Monday’s MLB schedule release, the Yankees’ 2020 season will begin on March 26th in Baltimore, the franchise’s earliest Opening Day ever.

Possibly the most anticipated part of the schedule will come in mid-August, when they take a trip to Iowa for the previously announced “Field of Dreams” game against the Chicago White Sox.

July will see the Yankees match up with the cross-town Mets for a pair of Subway Series meetings.

As usual, the Bombers will get a heavy does of the rival Red Sox, playing host in The Bronx from May 8-10, July 24-26; and Sept. 8-10. They’ve visit Fenway Park three times as well, June 12-14, July 30-Aug. 1 and Aug. 31-Sept. 2.

The Yankees will also see the NL Central for interleague play, matching up throughout the season against the Cardinals, Brewers, Pirates, Cubs and Reds.

Things wrap up against the Rays on the final game of the regular season on Sept. 27 at Yankee Stadium.
