Mets’ Noah Syndergaard is confused

Noah Syndergaard went from sad to confused about the Mets trade-deadline moves and the rumors surrounding him.

After the Mets finished a three-game sweep the Pirates on Sunday, the righty posted a dejected photo of himself in the dugout on Instagram with the caption, “When you’re on the trading block for the 2nd time in 6 months.”

He was also the subject of trade talks this winter.

About three hours later, with the Mets having acquired pitcher Marcus Stroman from the Blue Jays, Syndergaard took to Twitter. This time he posted a GIF of Thor — the Marvel character who also serves as Syndergaard’s nickname — with a confused emoji and the caption, “I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT’S GOING ON” on the GIF.

Syndergaard, who was traded in 2012 to the Mets from the Blue Jays in the R.A. Dickey deal, is not out of the woods yet with plenty of time left until Wednesday’s deadline (4 p.m.) The Mets adding Stroman doesn’t keep them from trading Syndergaard, reports The Post’s Joel Sherman.

At least we know Syndergaard will keep fans updated on where he stands in all of the goings on.
